Mystery has always been one of my favourite genres. The suspense, thrills and plot filled with riddles make it intriguing and fun. The upcoming tvN drama Awaken seems to fit the bill — it’s about a current mysterious case which is related to a mysterious incident that occurred more than 25 years ago in a village. Rural setting and enigmatic history surely raise the interest level. Almost all the main characters are investigators of one kind or the other. Continue reading →

She is starring in upcoming SBS drama VIP with Lee Sang Yoon (Liar Game), and the show is about a department store’s team who works for VIP clients, constituting 1% of their total clientele. This is really a must watch for me! It stars Ryu Joon Yul! My new favorite actor, thanks to his charming turn in Answer Me 1988. I was eagerly waiting for his next show and it is arriving in the form of upcoming romantic comedy Lucky Romance. Its rom-com genre is just the cherry on top but I was not too excited to hear that the leading lady is Hwang Jung Eum. Kim Sun Ah is an actress who I really adore. I’m not her fan, but I think she was super awesome in My Name Is Kim Sam Soon (her only drama I’ve seen) and also she carries each look with a class. She has mostly acted in romantic comedies like City Hall and more recent I Do, I Do and some melodramas like Scent Of A Woman (which I really wanna watch), but all in all a lighter fare. It’s a good thing that we can see her in a new kind of role in the forthcoming revenge film The Five, which is based on a webtoon. Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
