Oh medical dramas! ~yawn~ I have seen shows and films of the genre in the past but I have to admit that it is one of my least favorites. It gets so repetitive with very less room for freshness, is episodic and last but not least, I just cringe at the mandatory track of hospital politics. We just got a medical drama in the form of Life, which I skipped despite my love for Jo Seung Woo and Continue reading →

I find Yoo Seung Ho extremely cute even if I have not seen him act in anything. Of course, many of his shows are sitting (and gathering dust) on my shelf of dramas-I-plan-to-watch like I’m Not a Robot, Remember and Arang And The Magistrate. I really hope to see them someday ~sigh~ Anyhow, he is ready with his new show Bok Soo Is Back, which is also going by the literally translated title Revenge Is Back and sounds like a cute, harmless revenge high school show. Oh this show is ADORABLE! And warm. And funny. I was not even anticipating Thirty But Seventeen, the new kid on the block over at SBS but with its premiere week, it has won my heart. Actually this should not be a surprise for me as I loved the writer’s previous show High School King Of Savvy and liked She Was Pretty. The drama also received good ratings so yay across the board. Kudos to Shin Hye Sun for rising to leading lady roles after playing many cute/funny/annoying supporting roles for some years. I first noticed her in School 2013, then High School King Of Savvy, Oh My Ghost and She Was Pretty. It was her last drama My Golden Life (a weekender) that catapulted her to another level of popularity with huge success, where she was the main lead. Continue reading →
