A completely pre-produced drama can have a double-edged sword as far as its promotion is concerned — since everything is ready, one gets a chance to show as much goodies as one can before the show hits the airwaves. On the other hand, there is a thing called too much publicity. Overall, I think it’s a positive step to film and complete dramas before they air. Finally it’s here! One of the most anticipated dramas of the year is arriving this week on SBS — Legend Of The Blue Sea. The leading actors are the reason for its hype — Lee Min Ho and Jeon Ji Hyun star in this fantasy romance where she plays a mermaid and he is a con artist. The writer is another factor, who wrote superhit You From Another Star and last year’s The Producers, with older shows like Queen Of Housewives and You Who Rolled In Unexpectedly under her belt.
