In the sea of romantic comedies, sageuks and thrillers, we have a family comedy that premiered this past Wednesday on KBS. I’m actually surprised to see it in the weekday slot as these kind of shows are usually aired on weekends. Of course, What’s Wrong, Poong Sang seems quite different from the stereotypical weekend dramas. The show is about five siblings where the Continue reading →

Soon on the heels of his much-loved role in Chief Kim, Nam Goong Min is back with a new drama, titled Falsify. It will be as different as day and night from the former as it will be a serious legal/ political thriller about reporters and prosecutors. The show also stars Yoo Joo Sang, Uhm Ji Won and Jeon Hye Bin in the lead roles. It looks like an intense thriller dealing with bringing down the corrupt beings of society. Continue reading →

Black comedy and K-dramas are two words that I won’t put side by side but upcoming SBS show Heard It Through The Grapevine is being touted to have the genre and before we think anything, let’s have a look at its production team and it is the one behind critically acclaimed quality shows like Secret Love Affair and A Wife’s Credentials. Yes, this can surely be a satirical take on the rich and prestigious families, around which its story is woven. Continue reading →

Incarnation Of Money aired its last episode yesterday and I still have to catch up the last two episodes of the show, which kept me glued to the screen for its entire run. It is a show that never got boring and I’m glad that I watched it live as 24 hours of drama watching was something rather difficult if we go for a marathon. Anyways, the follow-up drama starting from this weekend is Birth Secret, that stars Sung Yuri as an amnesic woman who forgets ten years of her life, even her husband and daughter. Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
