MBC is beginning the new year of its Monday-Tuesday slot with a sageuk and it’s titled Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People. The previous drama to occupy this timeline was low rated Night Light (which I’m planning to check out) — not its fault as it was against rating winner Romantic Teacher Doctor Kim. Anyway, Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People is set in the Joseon times and has famous folk hero Hong Gil Dong at its center. Continue reading

There is certain dichotomy about upcoming drama Saimdang, Light’s Diary. On one hand, it is a sageuk and hence my interest nears zero.
