I will not go as far as to say that Big led me to believe that I won’t get a decent drama from my favorite writers, the Hong Sisters, anymore. But yeah, I kept my expectations low and I’m so happy to announce that they are back on track with giving one of the most charming dramas of 2013 with Master’s Sun. It is a sweet and zippy take on the favorite theme of the year aka ghost seers with a magical couple at its centre who make it work like a dream with their natural charisma and perfect wavelength with each other. Two Weeks is a delicious action thriller laced with excellent emotional beats that give it a heartwarming feel from beginning to end. Dating Agency: Cyrano is charming, cute, breezy, refreshing, sweet, warm and has an indie vibe to it. This has become my favorite drama of the year or at least one of them. ds Dalja’s Spring is a gem. It’s one of the best examples of how a romantic-comedy workplace drama should be made. It is full of feel good vibe with poignancy sprinkled throughout and I wonder why I watched it so late. There is a dichotomy regarding my views on Ad Genius Lee Tae Baek: on one side, I found it engaging to watch the story of an underdog team achieving the success and on the other side, I found it really boring to watch some of the predictable plot lines. The feeling after completing the drama is sweet, so I can say that the drama was an easy and fine experience, with some wonderful moments as well. Continue reading →
