She Was Pretty is what I would call a kdrama rom-com in its truest sense. But in a good way of course. It is easy, feel-good, romantic, funny, full of typical love ballads, love-squared and add all other good adjectives for a kdrama minus all the melodramatic and sad ones. Blame it on my relatively drama-less life right now that I didn’t even realise that Oh Hae Young Again premiered this Monday, a tvN romantic comedy that I was really excited for. My anticipation primarily comes from the main leads. I loved Eric in Que Sera Sera and Seo Hyun Jin in Three Musketeers and hence, once I read that they will act opposite each other, and that too in a rom-com, I was definitely a happy camper for this drama. Finally we will see Jang Hyuk in a modern role! Yay! I first saw him in movie Please Teach Me English but it was Fated To Love You that made me like him so very much. He followed that role with back to back sageuks in Shine or Go Crazy and God of Trade – Innkeeper 2015.

KBS is brining Strange Family this coming week on its Monday-Friday schedule and the show stars Lee Shi Ah, Kim Jin Woo and Gil Eun Hye (Orange Marmalade) in the lead roles.
