There is no doubt that Hyde, Jekyll, Me left everyone with a face like a wet weekend. TV viewers as well as international viewers were extremely disappointed from start to finish and I’m just glad that I bailed out after first two episodes. Its time slot, the once-highly-successful Wednesday-Thursday for SBS, is taken over by Girl Who Sees Smells, starring Yoochun, Shin Se Kyung, Yoon Jin Seo and Nam Goong Min. The drama looks like an interesting mix of comedy, romance, cuteness and some serious dark stuff as it involves killer and murder. Continue reading →

I never watched Let’s Eat and so it won’t come as a surprise that its second season on tvN leaves me indifferent. I think I can’t get excited for a show where main focus is food. Don’t get me wrong, I love eating but strangely I’m not attracted to fictional shows which are all about food. Anyway, the drama was well received and the second installment Let’s Eat 2 will also be about, well, food. Yoon Doo Joon is reprising his role but it’s a wonder that the drama will not have the original heroine (sadly for fans of the couple) Lee Soo Kyung. Instead, we have Seo Hyun Jin (The Three Musketeers) as the heroine this time. Continue reading →

The show stars him as a cartoonist aka a webtoon artist and Song Ji Hyo leads the drama as a movie producer who is also his ex. They meet when she is told to adapt his popular Continue reading →

Yay! Finally the leads are secured for upcoming Hong Sisters drama Warm And Cozy, which made us wait for so long before locking down the pair. After courting Kim Woo Bin and Rain, the drama has confirmed Yoo Yeon Seok as the main lead, while Kang So Ra has also confirmed her casting. I have seen Yoo Yeon Seok in only Gu Family Book in his supporting role and don’t have much of an opinion except that he looks really warm and Continue reading →

This is amazing. When I first read that my darling Hong Sisters are planning for a new drama, Rain was among the names I added in my wishlist to star in it. Then the writers went on to court Kim Woo Bin, which was also great. Unfortunately, it will take more time till he graces our screens as the leading man in a drama as he turned down the offer citing time issues as his reason. Anyway, I’m super happy to get this news that now the drama Continue reading →
