You Are My Spring is the new romance drama on tvN which is bringing a fresh pairing of Seo Hyun Jin and Kim Dong Wook. The actress has done a lot of romcoms previously, like Let’s Eat 2, Oh Hae Young Again, Temperature of Love, The Beauty Inside. But her last drama Black Dog was a departure from those romantic plots. Kim Dong Wook was last seen in melodrama Find Me In Your Memory. They are joined by Yoon Park, who I really adored in Age Of Youth and The Package, and Nam Gyu Ri, who got lots of praise for her last drama Kairos. Continue reading →

I adore Park Min Young — she is so effortlessly charming in her acting, especially in romantic comedies (Her Private Life, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim). Some can argue that she has done a lot of those but I think she brings a different side to each of her characters even if all those dramas are light hearted romances. Hospital Playlist warmed everyone’s heart with its sweet and emotional story last year. The show is coming back tomorrow on tvN as well as Netflix with its season 2. I’m super excited! The drama has a unique fusion of medical and slice-of-life genres. The show comes from the PD-writer team of Reply series (Answer Me series) and in the same lines, it simply touches your heart and makes you fall in love with its characters and relationships. I’m tickled pink for upcoming tvN drama Seashore Village ChaChaCha as it stars two of my favorites, Shin Min Ah (My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho, Chief Of Staff) and Kim Seon Ho (Start-Up, Catch The Ghost), in the lead roles. The show is a romantic comedy set in a coastal village with Shin Min Ah playing a brainy but clumsy dentist and Kim Seon Ho starring as an unemployed man who performs all sorts of odd jobs to help the people in the village and is known as Mr. Hong. The show also stars Lee Sang Yi (Once Again) as a successful variety show PD. The drama is a small screen adaptation of 2004 movie Mr. Hong. Continue reading →
