If you have been reading my blog from past few years, you must be knowing that Snow is a huuuuuge Hong Sisters fan! I fell in love with Delightful Girl Choon Hyang (my first drama) even when I didn’t know they created it. Then that love further increased with You’re Beautiful and Best Love, with My Girl, Master’s Sun and My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho also coming close. I never watched Couple Of Fantasy (its

MBC aired 50 episodes sageuk Empress Ki (2013-14) and that show was a huge success even if I skipped it, partly because of its length and partly because it was a sageuk which didn’t have enough interesting premise for me to make me watch it.The channel is bringing another epic sageuk this year with Hwajeong (or Splendid Politics)  which contains a slew of acting talents with Cha Seung Won, Kim Jae Won, Lee Sung Min, Lee Yeon Hee and Seo Kang Joon in the lead roles. The new season of dramas has begun and although Big Man and A New Leaf have made their entrance, SBS dramas Doctor Stranger and You’re All Surrounded are both premiering next week. I’m equally excited for both — they are as different in terms of tone and story and genre as night and day. The former is looking quite dramatic and embedded with lots of fantastical story arcs, characters and treatment, even if the plot includes Continue reading →

Dramaland never rests and keeps on producing more and more and more dramas! As always, I’m looking forward to most of them with great enthusiasm, all due to several different reasons. It is pretty late to post the script reading pics of cop drama You’re All Surrounded as it is premiering soon (April 30) and currently busy filming but better late than never. The show is about policemen but not a thriller or an investigation based Continue reading →

The one show I’m eminently excited about is the forthcoming cop drama You’re All Surrounded. And I have a boatload of reasons for that— the one-two punch casting of Cha Seung Won and Lee Seung Gi (who can trigger hilarious moments individually and together as well), the plot that involves a coming-of-age feel and also the potential for lots of bromance and forming a beautiful collage of emotions ranging from fun, romance to heart warming feels. As stated earlier, the drama revolves around the new recruits in the police department and after confirming Lee Seung Gi and Go Ara as the newbies, we Continue reading →
