Or being great for the most part obliterates the sour taste that the culmination leaves? I don’t think we can see a show half and half. If you start something, it is the drama’s writer’s duty to end it in a satisfactory manner. Still I’ll try my best to jot down the pros as well as cons. Maybe this review will have a coherent end. Jae Hee has been a beloved actor ever since I watched him in my first drama Delightful Girl Choon Hyang. He is working in daily dramas mostly from past few years and that is all fine but I don’t watch dailies and hence I’m not able to see his wonderful acting as much as I want to. He last did a cameos in thriller Voice 2 and also appeared in 2018 movies Memento Mori and New Old Story. Continue reading →

In the sea of romantic comedies, sageuks and thrillers, we have a family comedy that premiered this past Wednesday on KBS. I’m actually surprised to see it in the weekday slot as these kind of shows are usually aired on weekends. Of course, What’s Wrong, Poong Sang seems quite different from the stereotypical weekend dramas. The show is about five siblings where the Continue reading →

Oh this film looks like a cracktastic comedy! Park Sung Woong, who I’m currently watching in serious melodrama Hundred Million Stars From The Sky, is starring in new comedy movie The Man Inside Me along with Jin Young, who was super sweet in 2016 drama Moonlight Drawn By The Clouds. The film is about soul swapping where the former plays a gangster and the latter Continue reading →

TV show to TV show remakes are aplenty in Korean dramaverse but this Monday will see the premiere of a Korean movie remake in the form of drama The Crowned Clown. It is the small screen adaptation of superhit 2012 historical film Gwanghae: The Man Who Became King (aka Masquerade), which starred Lee Byung Hun and Han Hyo Joo in the lead roles and bagged many awards that year.
