I think the first thing I heard about K-entertainment was the movie My Sassy Girl. It was super popular (still is) and many of my non-kdrama-lover friends have at least heard about it. It was released in 2001 and stars Cha Tae Hyun and Jeon Ji Hyun in the lead roles. Now that we have secured the leads for the upcoming romance sageuk Sword And Flower in the form of Uhm Tae Woong (The Equator Man) and Kim Ok Bin (The Front Line), we are moving towards other cast additions. Kpop group CN Blue‘s Lee Jung Shin has been cast in the drama as the second lead and he will play the bodyguard to our heroine. The drama tells the story of Princess Mu-young (Kim Ok Bin), who falls in love with Yeon Choong (Uhm Tae Woong), the illegitimate son of her father’s murderer. Continue reading →
