It only takes a confirmation for a drama and things start taking a speedy turn after that and it’s a matter of only few weeks and the drama is finally on our TV screens (or rather computer screens in my case). Shark just confirmed its main leads and now things are gearing up as more cast has been added to this revenge melodrama plus thriller. The drama stars Kim Nam Gil as a guy who seeks revenge from Son Ye Jin‘s family and falls in love with her (natch). He even changes his face to accomplish his mission. A few days back, it was reported that Kim Nam Gil (Bad Guy) is positively considering the leading role in the revenge melodrama Shark. And now, it has been confirmed that he has signed on his next project as this drama, which is the third in the revenge franchise that includes Resurrection and Devil as the other shows. I loved Son Ye Jin in Classic, one of the movies I saw before I started watching dramas. Now, I don’t find Korean movies that much interesting. But I was really impressed by her acting, grace and beauty, and the movie itself remains one of my favorites in Korean movie land. It was gorgeously shot and was really poignant and emotionally strong. Later, I watched her performance in Personal Taste for only 4 or 5 episodes and to be frank, I found it cute but not to a higher degree. The drama itself was uninteresting to me. But I always look forward to projects of actors that I like and she is surely one of them. Continue reading →
