I started watching weekender What Happens To My Family when it started airing. I liked the warm, cozy and cute aura it had, with a really surprising great acting turn by Park Hyung Shik. Alas, RL does not always give you so much convenience to commit to a 50 episode series and hence, I ended up dropping it. The drama went on to become highly successful and received huge ratings which even reached 40%. The following drama is Bluebird’s House and it will start airing this Saturday. Continue reading

I didn’t watch King’s Face even when I have lots of affection for Seo In Guk. The drama gained mediocre reviews and ratings and now it is being followed by Unkind Women which is a show about three generations of women living in the same family. The show sounds more like a weekend drama if we go by its title as well as plot. It also marks Song Jae Rim‘s first main lead role. He has surely got a boost in his popularity with his turn in variety show We Got Married where he is paired for a fake relationship with Kim So Eun. Continue reading

I think with the rate at which drama machine keeps churning out new dramas everyday, be it premieres, announcements, casting, finales — it’s easy for a show to fall under the radar. I don’t know about the home country, but international fandom is not buzzing about upcoming weekend epic sageuk Jingbirok which is starting its run this Saturday on KBS. The show stars always-terrific Kim Sang Joong and Kim Tae Woo (who played Lee Bo Young‘s husband in God’s Gift – 14 Days) in the lead roles. Continue reading

Just give me a moment as I can’t stop laughing after seeing the HILARIOUS posters from upcoming KBS drama Blood. It is so weird with leading man Ahn Jae Hyun hugging himself — he is doctor as well as vampire in the show. Then there is the other one where the leads are drinking blood via stethoscope! LOL. The creative team behind the posters took it too literally!
