The oldest K-drama I have seen is My Love Patzzi, that came in 2002 but I watched it in 2012. It starred two of the actors that I have known since my starting point of the journey in K-entertainment. Kim Rae Won, the hero of my first step My Little Bride and Kim Jae Won, hero of my second step, 100 Days With Mr. Arrogant. I find Kim Jae Won really charming and I have seen him in two completely different roles: the arrogant guy (obviously) in the movie and the caring, good-hearted chaebol in the drama. Continue reading

I just started watching Gu Family Book and after completing two episodes, I can safely say that it’s really engaging and I can’t wait to watch the next episode. I’m glad I decided against my earlier decision to watch it live. Comfortably marathoning has its own charm. And now, I understood why everyone is talking about Cho Jin Hyuk. He is so good in the drama and yay that he will return in the upcoming episodes.

Okay, this may not be a squeeworthy news for me like so many other viewers, but I’m definitely happy with Joo Won signing on his next drama. The reason is very simple: I haven’t seen any of his dramas (I know!!), and the only thing I’ve seen him in is the first episode of his last show Level 7 Civil Servant which proved to be utterly disappointing.
