I was totally mesmerized by Lee Jong Suk in School 2013, where he was simply awesome. And now he is ready to show more brilliance with his upcoming fantasy and legal drama I Can Hear Your Voice, which will mark his reunion with his costar from Secret Garden, Yoon Sang Hyun. Answer Me 1997 was one of the most talked about dramas of 2012 and the one that received so much love from the viewers. And I’m not exception to it. I was captivated by Kim Ji Hoon in Flower Boy Next Door and for the first time in my drama watching, I suffered from second lead syndrome. He left an indeliable impression with his sweet and understated acting. I don’t even know the reason why I grew fond of him so much. It was my first time watching him and I really want to see Secret Investigation Record and Love And Marriage (if only I could have more hours for fulfilling my addiction), both starring him in lead roles. The Chaser was one of those dramas of 2012 that were highly acclaimed but were relatively less talked about among the international viewers It was a political thriller involving conspiracy theme. I haven’t seen it yet, but the team of this show is back with their new epic drama called Empire Of Gold, which has cast Go Soo (Will It Snow For Christmas) in the lead role and will span over 20 years, showing the rise of a business empire. The story begins in 1990 and tells the journey of a man who sees his father working in drastic conditions of poverty and thus his ambition grows like anything to attain the highest position in the business world. The casting of main leads for the upcoming Hong Sisters drama, titled The Sun of My Master aka The Sun of The Lord (not quite appealing, I know), was reported as So Ji Sub and Gong Hyo Jin; who were in positive consideration of the show. It has resulted in the final confirmation, as is the case most of the times. We now have an interesting pair for this romantic comedy with dash of horror about a woman who can see ghosts and a man who protects her. Continue reading
