I have to say I’m not exactly a fan of sageuks (Korean historical TV dramas for the uninitiated) but I do love some fusion in them (Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Moonlight Drawn By Clouds) and the new JTBC drama Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency looks like it is fitting that bill. It is based on a 2014 novel and is about a king who employs the help of a matchmaking company to get married to his first love. I’m on board already! Continue reading

Hotel Del Luna has gained ratings as well as popularity since its premiere back in July. I started it but currently its status is on hold for me, leaning towards dropped category as my interest is very minimal for this fantasy show. He stars as a man moving to big city Seoul from a small town when he gets a job there and taking up residence in an apartment building where all his neighbours Continue reading

It is headlined by Song Seung Heon who plays a former politician who is desperately trying to go back to being elected and joining the National Assembly. One day, he meets an 18 year old girl Continue reading
