First of all, I want to take my words back a bit. I think Nora’s husband is really worse than I thought. After 6 episodes, I think I know him better now. It’s true that he wanted divorce to come out of a marriage where he was not happy. But he is a selfish person who lived with her all these years so that she can support his household and raise their son. All these years, he treated her like nothing. And then he fell for this other woman and thus took the decision to leave his wife when everything in his life was settled. He became successful, got a girl who he thinks matched his so-called intellect and his son is old enough. I do give him some good points when he took responsibility 20 years ago when Nora got pregnant and so he married her. But his treatment — it’s unacceptable. Continue reading →

Twenty Again hit the airwaves three weeks ago but I only marathoned all 4 episodes just yesterday. The feeling I got after watching the drama is surely akin to trying out a new dish. You start with a bit of enthusiasm and then you are not sure if you like the taste. As you try more and more, the dish becomes more comforting and delicious. Same way, Twenty Again is getting better and better with each episode and now I’m bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to see what happens next. Continue reading →

Hot on the heels of that show, he has confirmed a movie titled Hyung as his next project. The movie also stars D.O. of pop group EXO, who showed his talent in acting last year with It’s Okay, It’s Love. Continue reading →

Bubblegum is the new tvN drama which I’m extremely excited about. The main reason is of course the cast — I love, love, love Jung Ryeo Won and Lee Jong Hyuk. My love with the two comes from King Of Dramas and Dating Agency Cyrano respectively. Their follow-up shows were Medical Top Team and Flower Of The Queen, which I never watched as the cake was not worth the candle in those cases. For a few seconds, I had a face like a wet weekend as she is the main  lead and he plays second lead and I wanted them to pair up against each other but then, I’m just happy that they are starring in something I can get enthusiastic about. Oh My Ghostess is a delightful drama with great cast, camaraderie and characters. A romantic comedy at heart, it adds a fanatasy bent to it and comes up with a strange love triangle which makes you laugh, smile, swoon and cry. Continue reading →
