2014 is officially the reunion year and when dramaland is bursting at the seams with reel life couple reunions, then why should filmdom remain behind at it. Lee Seung Gi and Moon Chae Won starred together in 2009’s superhit drama Shining Inheritance (or Brilliant Legacy); albeit not as a couple but as main and second leads respectively. It’s a great moment of joy for all those fans who shipped them then as both are going to act Continue reading →

A cheesy, shallow romantic comedy is like melted ice cream. There is taste but not the feel. I initially thought that Fated To Love You might be another light, run-of-the-mill kind of drama with arrogant and rude hero and meek heroine, filled with tried and tested formulae and character types. But I’m grinning from ear to ear after encountering it because it is so awesome with so much heart and magical couple who are individually incredible as well. I love how smoothly the drama shows the process of falling in love, as our two leads smile and laugh and share warm moments together, when their facial expressions are as clear as day, showing that they are totally attracted to each other. I like how step by step Gun and Mi Young became closer and Gun got mesmerised by her kindness and cuteness, drawn towards her like a moth to a flame. Continue reading →

I’m on top of the world right now because Rain is returning to the small screen! Yay. It has been 4 years since he last did a drama, which was the entertaining and fun ride called Fugitive Plan B. That drama was not perfect and very far from it but I loved it — it had thrills, heart, fun and great characters and camaraderie with brilliant soundtrack. And well, Continue reading →

It’s true that dramaland is flooded with love sweet love right now with most of the offerings of rom-coms being awesome. But hey, who’s complaining when you get rainbows and unicorns in abundance! Another romantic comedy coming up next month is for tvN and is titled My Secret Hotel. To show’s credit, it is making things a bit fresh by adding murder mystery in the mix, so basically serving us with a cocktail of romance, humour and Continue reading →

I’m so busy this week that I didn’t get time to even watch my dramas! This is exam time for me and only I know how I controlled myself from watching another delectable episode of Marriage Not Dating. When you are so obsessed with a show, you can’t help but explore every nook and cranny of the net to read more about it and hence, I know that there is a kiss in episode 6! And now I’ve decided to stay away from areas that can spoil my excitement of watching an episode and remain with I-don’t-know-what’s-gonna-happen-next lens. I’m happy that way. Continue reading →
