What can I say? 2013 SBS Drama Awards made me happy. Maybe it has a lot to do with the fact that the network gave most of the better shows of 2013 or the ones that I loved or liked a lot (I Hear Your Voice, Heirs, Master’s Sun to name a few). Hence, the winners were all my favorites. As much as I wanted So Ji Sub and Gong Hyo Jin to win best couple award, I’m still on cloud nine as Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye received it. I laughed out loud after reading the winners of 2013 MBC Drama Awards. Not that I expect anything substantial coming out of these channel award events as with past experiences, I have understood that they are all about popularity and ratings. But still, even when I kept that in mind, some of the winners left me flabbergasted and some of the actors or dramas that were left out made me realise how meaningless these awards can be.
