I’m bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for upcoming KBS rom-com The Law Cafe for multiple reasons! First, I absolutely love the main leads — Lee Seung Gi and Lee Se Young. Secondly, a friends-to-lovers premise! It has Kim Seul Gi, (Oh My Ghost) who is always terrific in any project she is in. Plus, a modern rom-com is always my cup of tea. The show has another name as Love According To The Law. Continue reading →

I’m not a huge fan of Korean historical dramas but I do enjoy some entries from the genre from time to time. I’m currently in love with fantasy sageuk (aka historical dramas) Alchemy Of Souls. MBC is coming up with a new sageuk titled Joseon Lawyer. It has confirmed Woo Do Hwan, Kpop group WJSN’s Bona and VIXX’s Cha Hak Yeon as its lead cast. Continue reading →

We don’t see a lot of sit-coms in dramaland. Some titles that come to mind are High Kick series, Kimchi Cheese Smile, Standby and Vampire Idol. Coupang Play is bringing a new entry in this category — Unicorn, which is set in the chaotic world of startups and is premiering on Friday this week. Continue reading →

Reunions are not very common in dramaland. But the new romantic comedy show Good Job is reuniting Jung Il Woo and Yuri. Both the actors previously starred together in sageuk Bossam: Steal the Fate last year. The change of genre from historical to modern surely adds mint fresh layer to their second outing.
