I’m tickled pink for upcoming tvN drama Seashore Village ChaChaCha as it stars two of my favorites, Shin Min Ah (My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho, Chief Of Staff) and Kim Seon Ho (Start-Up, Catch The Ghost), in the lead roles. The show is a romantic comedy set in a coastal village with Shin Min Ah playing a brainy but clumsy dentist and Kim Seon Ho starring as an unemployed man who performs all sorts of odd jobs to help the people in the village and is known as Mr. Hong. The show also stars Lee Sang Yi (Once Again) as a successful variety show PD. The drama is a small screen adaptation of 2004 movie Mr. Hong. Continue reading →

Korean drama titles can be confusing sometimes as their English translations have a lot of versions. I end up choosing the one used by most platforms. So I’m going with At A Distance, Spring Is Green for the new KBS drama that also goes by the names Blue Spring From A Distance and A Blue Spring from Afar. The show is based around college life and is a coming-of-age tale about the struggles faced by the students and the youth. I’m looking forward to this show which is based on a popular webtoon. I found Ahn Hyo Seop absolutely adorable in his supporting role in 2018 drama Still 17 (aka Thirty But Seventeen). He has since starred in leading roles in shows like Abyss and Dr. Romantic 2 but I haven’t seen both so I’m not sure how he performed as the main lead. He has confirmed his next drama role in SBS romantic comedy Office Blind Date. In addition to this, he will be appearing in a historical role in upcoming drama Red Sky along with Kim Yoo Jung. I loved Wi Ha Joon in Romance Is A Bonus Book but I still have to see his follow-up drama 18 Again.
