It’s been years since I saw any So Ji Sub drama. The last for me was Oh My Venus back in 2015. The actor is now coming back with new MBC drama titled Dr. Lawyer after almost four years, his last small screen appearance being in My Secret Terrius. In fact, I don’t recall any show which had this theme. tvN’s new drama The Devil Judge is trying to break new grounds as it’s set in an alternate universe, in a dystopian world, where courtrooms broadcast their trials live for the whole world to see. I adore Park Min Young — she is so effortlessly charming in her acting, especially in romantic comedies (Her Private Life, What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim). Some can argue that she has done a lot of those but I think she brings a different side to each of her characters even if all those dramas are light hearted romances. Hospital Playlist warmed everyone’s heart with its sweet and emotional story last year. The show is coming back tomorrow on tvN as well as Netflix with its season 2. I’m super excited! The drama has a unique fusion of medical and slice-of-life genres. The show comes from the PD-writer team of Reply series (Answer Me series) and in the same lines, it simply touches your heart and makes you fall in love with its characters and relationships.
