Finally we have the stills of Lee Jong Suk as the doctor in his upcoming drama Doctor Stranger and I think he still looks like a high school boy! Yes, there is a lot of seriousness on his face and very solemn expressions and all, but he is looking so young. Anyway, I’ve watched enough Kdramas to not make this a point of issue as we have digested so many weird and impossible shenanigans (for example, cross dressing without getting caught) that this one seems quite normal in front of them. Anyway, the young look aside, I’m also not liking the hair style for both him and Park Hae Jin as it gives a very dated feel. But both are looking good nevertheless. Continue reading →

Okay, so we have new casting confirmations for upcoming spring dramas Big Man and Doctor Stranger. Let me start with the one which made me really happy and that is the addition of Jung So Min as Daniel Choi‘s younger sister in Big Man. She will be playing the usual rich heiress though that comes with usual characteristics like she always gets what she wants and things done her way. I love her and I’m glad that finally she has signed on a new drama and that too with Kang Ji Hwan. Continue reading →

Yay. He is back with a new drama. Lee Jong Suk stole my heart last year. First as the calm and caring Go Nam Soon in School 2013 where he beautifully conveyed his emotions through his eyes and then as the adorable ‘head over heels in love’ Park Continue reading →

What can I say? 2013 SBS Drama Awards made me happy. Maybe it has a lot to do with the fact that the network gave most of the better shows of 2013 or the ones that I loved or liked a lot (I Hear Your Voice, Heirs, Master’s Sun to name a few). Hence, the winners were all my favorites. As much as I wanted So Ji Sub and Gong Hyo Jin to win best couple award, I’m still on cloud nine as Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye received it. I had a major disappointment when Gong Hyo Jin didn’t win a single award!! Continue reading →

I love high school films as they come invested with love, warmth, friendships, fun, innocence, teen angst and nostalgia. Hot Blooded Youth is the upcoming teen romance film set in the 80s about the love lives and friendships of high school students. The film stars Lee Jong Suk and Park Bo Young in the lead roles along with Kim Young Kwang and Lee Se Young. Judging from the posters, it clearly has a youthful and retro vibe. Continue reading →
