It has really been an unannounced hiatus this past week as I was busy with exams. But now I’m all set to start my drama spree. Tomorrow is that special occasion when the big three networks are starting new dramas for the same slot. MBC is bringing melodrama Monster, KBS is bringing legal comedy Neighbourhood Lawyer Jo Deul Ho and SBS is bringing sageuk Jackpot. What can I say? 2013 SBS Drama Awards made me happy. Maybe it has a lot to do with the fact that the network gave most of the better shows of 2013 or the ones that I loved or liked a lot (I Hear Your Voice, Heirs, Master’s Sun to name a few). Hence, the winners were all my favorites. As much as I wanted So Ji Sub and Gong Hyo Jin to win best couple award, I’m still on cloud nine as Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye received it. Incarnation Of Money aired its last episode yesterday and I still have to catch up the last two episodes of the show, which kept me glued to the screen for its entire run. It is a show that never got boring and I’m glad that I watched it live as 24 hours of drama watching was something rather difficult if we go for a marathon. Anyways, the follow-up drama starting from this weekend is Birth Secret, that stars Sung Yuri as an amnesic woman who forgets ten years of her life, even her husband and daughter. Continue reading →

Okay now, the title Birth Secret itself sounds so drama-ish for its extensive use throughout in dramaland, particularly in makjang shows. And the general dramas also happen to have a fondness towards the clandestine past stories, which usually form the latter part or provide the climax for our shows, after they complete their main story.
