I’m really excited for new SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama Entertainer. It seems to have just the right amount of fun, feel-goodness, exuberance and an underdog story to click all the right buttons. I haven’t been watching any new dramas from last few weeks and I’m all set to drop this short hiatus with this show which tells the story of a man (Ji Continue reading

This is really a must watch for me! It stars Ryu Joon Yul! My new favorite actor, thanks to his charming turn in Answer Me 1988. I was eagerly waiting for his next show and it is arriving in the form of upcoming romantic comedy Lucky Romance. Its rom-com genre is just the cherry on top but I was not too excited to hear that the leading lady is Hwang Jung Eum. Answer Me franchise is known for two things: first — being realistic and down to earth, bringing a sense of nostalgia, being an emotional roller coaster and having awesome moments with so much heart that you can’t help but love the characters and those moments. If you are annoyed by this mystery, and don’t want to give Answer Me 1988 a chance, it’s going to be a great loss as the show is brilliant. Yes, it has that husband-mystery game but the main focus is family and friendship. And of course, the moments! Continue reading

Let me first get the disappointing things out of my system. First, it’s a medical drama which is a genre I’m as interested in as I would be in watching grass dry. And secondly, the title! It can’t get more obvious than this. But then you sign on Kim Rae Won (my first love in the land of Korean films and dramas) and Park Shin Hye (one of the actresses I’m really fond of) and how can I not get excited and interested, despite the Continue reading

I loved Ji Sung in Protect The Boss. He has excellent comic timing and it remains the only drama I have seen him in because his following shows didn’t interest me. But upcoming SBS drama Entertainer seems like my cup of tea, except the fact that the plot sounds so much like that snoozefest called She’s So Lovable. I just hope this one is as Continue reading
