I’m loving and enjoying Fated To Love You even when it has lost some of its initial beauty. The magic of the Jangs is still there and my heart aches for them as well as jumps with joy when they are being cute and adorable and are together. But I think we’ve seen enough separation between them, and enough noble idiocy on Gun’s part. I have this complaint that the drama doesn’t explain us clearly what is he thinking right now. Seo Wool meets the whole family with her claim that Dal Bong promised to marry her. We see in flashbacks that Seo Wool saved him when he accidentally fell into the river. I wonder why he is not explaining everyone that all this happened when both were 14-year-old kids. Somehow he takes her away and says that it was some other person whom she saved and to go away. Yay for a nice, heartwarming family drama. If you regularly read my blog (or so I hope!), you might have noticed that I stay away from long weekend shows. It’s surprising that my interest in What’s With This Family came while writing a post about it as that was the first time I researched on it and the whole set-up kind of looked good. So I gave it a try and now I’m happy as clam to report that it’s really good. The characters are well introduced to us right off the bat and there is enough comedy, warmth and camaraderie which made it a nice watch. Also the show is well paced. Continue reading →

I was eagerly waiting with open arms to welcome Sooyoung in her next drama as I absolutely loved her in Dating Agency Cyrano where she was ebullient and heart of the show. It was a bonus that she had hot chemistry with Lee Jong Hyuk burning my screen and I loved that OTP even when their romance was not the main thing about the drama. Continue reading →
