King The Land is all about rainbows and unicorns and sunshine! The drama is a fluffy, candy floss romance which can be called feel-good in the truest sense of the word. The pièce de résistance of the drama is its main lead — Junho. The show reminds me of those classic rom-coms of dramaland (the ones that ruled our hearts in the 2000s and 2010s) — in a good way! Korean dramas are known (and loved) for their one season, less-than-20-episodes (well, in most cases) format and it’s rare to see a drama getting more than one installment. Of course, there are exceptions like Let’s Eat, Rude Miss Young Ae, Mystery Queen, Vampire Prosecutor and God’s Quiz. The God’s Quiz franchise has a huge fan following and now it is coming with its fifth season as God’s Quiz: Reboot. I think it is better to use the title Let Me Introduce Her for latest SBS weekender than the other About Her as the latter sound so similar to currently airing fantasy About Time and the former also looks more interesting. MBC aired 50 episodes sageuk Empress Ki (2013-14) and that show was a huge success even if I skipped it, partly because of its length and partly because it was a sageuk which didn’t have enough interesting premise for me to make me watch it.The channel is bringing another epic sageuk this year with Hwajeong (or Splendid Politics)  which contains a slew of acting talents with Cha Seung Won, Kim Jae Won, Lee Sung Min, Lee Yeon Hee and Seo Kang Joon in the lead roles.
