A new daily drama is starting this week, airing from Monday to Friday on MBC and it’s titled I Love You Danji (also going by the name Return of Lucky Pot). The only cast member I know is Lee Pil Mo who was great in Pinocchio. For weekday prime time shows, he last appeared in a cameo role in tvN hit Oh Hae Young Again. I Love You Danji sounds like the typical plot of a hardworking poor girl meeting a rich guy and falling in love. Continue reading →

It seems odd to see Kim So Yeon (Falling For Innocence) in a long family weekend drama but refreshing nevertheless. She will be appearing in upcoming MBC show All’s Well With a Happy Home with regular weekend stars Lee Sang Woo (Please, Mom) and Lee Pil Mo (Pinocchio). The drama centres around a family that owns a Chinese restaurant. Our heroine is the eldest daughter who is married to Lee Pil Mo, a cold and Continue reading →

School 2013 was one of my most favourite shows of that year. It was filled with poignancy and touching moments. The characters made you smile, laugh and cry with them. Not to mention the epic bromance, not only between Lee Jong Suk and Kim Woo Bin, but also between the trio of bullies. I did have one complaint in that show, Continue reading →

SBS really made an impressive move last year with announcing that it will broadcast makjang-free weekend shows and has really stayed with its promise as it aired cute and light-hearted shows like Glorious Day (or Feel Good Day), Modern Farmer and Angel Eyes in the Saturday-Sunday slot alongside dramas with makjang elements like Endless Love. Sadly, the ratings were not as desired and I really hope that the network would not let this factor (a very huge one) to let it leave that much-appreciated policy. Same wish goes for the new weekend drama My Heart Twinkle Twinkle which is starting next week as Birth Of A Beauty wraps up this week. Continue reading →

If a drama reminds me of Delightful Girl Choon Hyang even a little bit, that means it has done half the work of pleasing me. The newest drama on SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday slot aka Pinocchio did that and more. I liked the first episode already but the second one sealed the deal for me and now I love it! It has lots and lots of cuteness of the teenage love and relationship and many heartfelt moments which make it a perfect watch for me. Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
