I liked Lee Dong Gun a lot as the sensible husband in one of the underrated but really good rom-coms Sweet 18 which starred Han Ji Hye opposite him. That made me excited for his comeback project Mi Rae’s Choice (2013) but I ended up dropping it, which turned out to be a great decision as the show left everyone angry and frustrated after its run. It was also sad for the cast as the show received very low ratings. Hence, I’m happy to report that he is starring in his next drama and better that the network is tvN, which keeps on churning out one quality project after another. In fact, most of my favourites from last year belonged to the cable channel. Continue reading
