Sageuks, sageuks and more sageuks. It seems 2013 will be the year of sageuks just like 2012 was the year of time travel. Our screens are already full of the deluge namely Gu Family Book, Jang ok Jung, Live For Love, Mandate Of Heaven and upcoming Goddess Of Fire, Jeong-yi and now we have another addition to the historical genre: Sword And Flower, which stars Uhm Tae Woong and Kim Ok Bin in the lead roles. It is a period romance set in the Goguryeo era and will tell the story of lovers who are forced to choose between love or revenge due to family strife and contention. Delightful Girl Choon Hyang was my first drama and I totally love it. It remains my most favorite drama. It received high ratings during its run and is the first drama written by the Hong Sisters (You’re Beautiful, My Girl, Best Love).
