Time travel is slowly becoming a stale genre, for me at least, as a number of dramas have already adopted it, with mixed results. Queen In Hyun’s Man, Dr. Jin, Faith, Nine, Marry Him If You Dare, Rooftop Prince, Operation Proposal, Tomorrow With You, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, and latest ones — Manhole, Tunnel and Live Up To Your Name. I actually enjoy the trope (I ♥ Back To The Future) and there is so much that can be mined through it, be it fish-out-of-water comedy, or high stakes romance or even mystery. It boasts an awesome trio of actresses with a plot centering around their friendship, bonding and revengeful spirit. It is about three women from three walks of life who have suffered through harsh times and how they come together to avenge the wrongdoers. Insurance fraud is the basis of new KBS investigation drama called Mad Dog, which boasts quite an eclectic cast. Yoo Ji Tae (Healer, The Good Wife) plays a former detective who is now the leader of a team that deals with crimes related to insurance fraud, meaning cases where people fake accidents to claim the huge insurance money. Well, millions of films, shows, novels have been written with murder mystery related to insurance fraud, so I guess we will be getting a case-of-the-week scenario here with many culprits creatively designing their fraud and then our players finding the truth.
