Healer is an amalgamation of action, romance, melodrama and comedy and is a thoroughly entertaining drama that deftly handles its various moods. It has the trifecta of drama making — acting, directing and writing with a beating heart to complete the picture perfectly. Although the show garnered lowest ratings among its competitors, the international and online mania tells a different story. The drama captured the hearts of countless viewers who love it to pieces. What do you expect and want from a K-drama in general? A swoony romance, a lovely couple that makes you giddy, or maybe some makjang and some melo. I was surprised to love Misaeng in spite of the fact that it is as far from these elements as possible. Liar Game takes the viewers on a roller coaster ride by offering continuous thrills and chills. It succeeds as a taut, intelligent thriller where nothing sticks out a mile.
