Cho Seung Woo, Divorce Attorney Shin, Han Eun Sung, Han Hye Jin, JTBC, Jung Moon Sung, Kang Mal Geum, Kdrama, Kdramas, Kim Sung Kyun, Korean Actors, Korean Drama, Korean Movie, Korean Series, Korean TV series, Korean TV shows, Netflix

The first thing that comes to mind about Divorce Attorney Shin is its unusual vibe. The drama feels very different from regular shows we are used to. It blends humor and drama in a legal genre setting, resulting in a show that excels sporadically. Continue reading →

REVIEW: Crash Course In Romance (2023)

Crash Course In Romance, Jang Young Nam, Jeon Do Yeon, Jung Kyung Ho, Kdrama, Kdramas, Korean Actors, Korean Drama, Korean Movie, Korean Series, Korean TV series, Korean TV shows, Lee Chae Min, Netflix, Oh Eui Shik, Roh Yoon Seo, Shin Jae Ha, tvN

Crash Course In Romance could have been a perfect sweet, funny and delightful story of parenting, family and love but it suffers from something that many recent rom-com dramas do — adding unnecessary thriller angle. It just sticks out like a sore thumb here. Thankfully, the good outweighs the bad. Continue reading →

The long journey of Alchemy Of Souls finally completed this month. It began in June last year and was divided into two parts. Part 2 was marked with lots of talks on change of the female lead but I’m glad the discussions shifted to plot once the second instalment started. Overall, Alchemy Of Souls Part 2 encompasses the good elements of Part 1 and delivers a satisfying story and conclusion. But it never achieved the magic of Part 1. The second part also goes by the moniker Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow.

Shooting Stars (also going by its stylish name, Sh**ting Stars) is a delightful, adorable drama with lots of fun, ebullience and heart. Imbued with charming characters and excellent chemistry across the board, the show won my heart completely. Continue reading →

Love Is For Suckers has been my weekly dose of feel-good-ness. ‘Friends to lovers’ is one of the most loved romance tropes and the drama employs it by using the backdrop of variety shows. The final product is a flawed but pleasing cocktail of more than one love stories. Continue reading →
