So much has been said about the clichéd nature of weekend kdramas including my own multiple posts. But then there are definitely exceptions that can be seen and one more to join that list is upcoming MBC weekender Bad Thief, Good Thief (or Thief-nom, Thief-nim). The drama is about a group of thieves who act like Robin Hood and thus steal from the corrupt as well as powerful and try to cause damage to them. This faction has Ji Hyun Woo (Queen In Hyun’s Man) as its leader. Continue reading →

Amidst the high buzz of MBC weekender Hotel King (the My Girl reunion is enough to garner everyone’s interest), the other show on the network for the time slot is totally ignored or forgotten. Even I didn’t pay attention to Jang Bo Ri Is Here, considering my affection for its leading man Kim Ji Hoon. I’m sad that he is again acting in a long weekend drama back to back after his last venture in Goddess Of Marriage, that drove everyone up the wall for being the typical non-sensical annoying show. I loved his understated and subtle portrayal in Flower Boy Next Door and I really hope he’ll act in something that will not require me to commit for a 50 hours journey to see him act on my screen. Only a day is left for the premiere of weekend drama Goddess Of Marriage and have a look at the new posters for the show that will portray four marriage/ love stories related to four women. Initially I was really excited about this show even when it is 32 episodes long (huh) and as there are many trajectories, it has the chance of meandering a lot. But still Kim Ji Hoon compelled me to give this a try and I thought we’ll be getting something light and funny. But the latest highlight on the storyline has turned me off for this as it says that the heroine, played by Nam Sang Mi, is engaged to Kim Ji Hoon but she meets a stranger, Lee Sang Woo, on some trip, attraction starts and she cheats on her boyfriend. She returns, but still keeps this a secret and continues her marriage thing. Continue reading →

Of course Nam Sang Mi is the main lead who Continue reading →

Full of laughs and full of warmth.
I really liked the subtle, soft and indie-like start of The Interest Of Love.
