There is no doubt that the new tvN drama Arthdal Chronicles is one of the most anticipated ones this year. With a cast boasting names like Song Joong Ki (his first drama since superhit Descendants Of The Sun 3 years back), Kim Ji Won (reuniting with Song Joong Ki and following DOTS with well-received Fight My Way), very popular and hit Jang Dong Gun (I’m surprised to see him in another drama so soon after Suits as he usually does more films than dramas and his Continue reading →

JTBC is known for bringing quality content in dramaland and hence, despite a premise that is done many time before — reunion of a separated couple — there is hope that the new show The Wind Blows will be something different and quality-wise good. It stars Kam Woo Sung and Kim Ha Neul as a couple who meets after 6 years since their divorce. They were happily married but the husband is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease and hence, in order to not make his wife suffer, he divorces her. Continue reading →

First things first — Yay! Lee Min Ho has confirmed his first comeback project, a TV drama, after completing his military service. I’m not too happy about the show itself though. It’s by top writer Kim Eun Sook, and I love the humour in her shows Goblin and Secret Garden. But this is a reunion after the actor and writer did Heirs back in 2013, which despite enjoying and liking a lot when I was watching it, I can agree that it was not a very good drama. Hence, my low Continue reading →

If I had not seen Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food (or Something In The Rain), I would have been excited for the premiere of MBC’s new romance One Spring Night. It comes from the same PD (Ahn Pan Suk — his other shows include acclaimed Heard It Through the Grapevine, Secret Love Affair and The Wife’s Credentials) and writer team. I liked the first few episodes of the Continue reading →

Watching Her Private Life is like eating an ice cream of my favorite flavour but with toppings that I don’t like. The main attraction is of course the main couple, KIm Jae Wook and Park Min Young, and their superb chemistry and on screen romance. Everything else is boring, dull, I Continue reading →
