The long journey of Alchemy Of Souls finally completed this month. It began in June last year and was divided into two parts. Part 2 was marked with lots of talks on change of the female lead but I’m glad the discussions shifted to plot once the second instalment started. Overall, Alchemy Of Souls Part 2 encompasses the good elements of Part 1 and delivers a satisfying story and conclusion. But it never achieved the magic of Part 1. The second part also goes by the moniker Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow.

It was an exceptional case for me with new Korean drama Crash Course In Romance. I started it and didn’t continue after first few minutes because it wasn’t capturing my interest. Then next day, I decided to give it another try because it was a drama I wanted to watch since its announcement. What a great decision! Because after watching the first two episodes, I’m in love. The Interest Of Love premiered two weeks back but I only got the chance to start it now. I have seen 2 out of 4 episodes so far but I’m totally onboard this ride! The show is moody, indie-like with an unhurried pace. It’s the opposite of over-the-top. Soft, simple, subtle. Continue reading
