What an intense start for God’s Gift – 14 Days, the new drama on SBS for its Monday-Tuesday slot. I had lots of expectations with it and it met all of them and some more. The drama has that eerie, chilling atmosphere and a seriousness in tone, which is all the more impactful by the use of minimum colours throughout. I can feel that contrast much more because I just finished You From Another Star that was all candy floss and colorful to the max. Continue reading →

I finally jumped on the bandwagon of current rating winner You From Another Star which is receiving equal love from the online viewers across the globe as well. I’m happy to report that I liked the first two episodes. Things happened at a nice pace which were a medley of comedy, mystery, romance, historical and sci-fi. I enjoyed every bit of it. I’m sure most of you might be watching it live but I waited to marathon it. Now as 12 episodes have been aired, I thought it was a good time to start it! Continue reading →

I’m so glad that I liked both the episodes of the most anticipated drama of 2013 Heirs as I went in with low expectations, the second one more than the first. The show is a bit slow-paced but not in a dragging or boring kind of way. It is just flowing with giving enough time to understand what is going on with the number of cast members present with their respective story lines. I think Heirs has done a great job in introducing everyone without making it haphazard and naturally Continue reading →

Two Weeks has completed half of its journey already but I managed to watch only two episodes because of the time constraints and giving more attention to Master’s Sun. Anyways, I’m glad that Two Weeks is really good and balances style with substance perfectly, which is mainly a rare combination with shows either ending up being only fluffy and glossy or they are plain dull sometimes. Lee Jun Ki is outstanding!! Continue reading →
