I really like Kim Rae Won (Doctors, Punch). My first introduction to Korean entertainment was adorable Korean movie My Little Bride (2004) and I have liked him ever since. His latest drama The First Responders is arriving today on SBS. Son Ho Joon (Was It Love?) and Gong Seung Yun (Circle) join him in a story about joint forces of police, firefighters and paramedics who respond to various crimes, emergencies and disasters. Korean dramas about behind the scenes shenanigans can be a hit or a miss. Some shows that based their plot on it are The World That They Live In (2008), Entourage (2016), King Of Dramas (2012) and The Producers (2015). The latest tvN drama Behind Every Star is also based on the entertainment industry and is a remake of French TV show Dix pour cent or Call My Agent! (2015 – Present). It is about the lives and relationships and struggles of actors and their managers.
