I really like Kim Rae Won (Doctors, Punch). My first introduction to Korean entertainment was adorable Korean movie My Little Bride (2004) and I have liked him ever since. His latest drama The First Responders is arriving today on SBS. Son Ho Joon (Was It Love?) and Gong Seung Yun (Circle) join him in a story about joint forces of police, firefighters and paramedics who respond to various crimes, emergencies and disasters. I have to say I’m not exactly a fan of sageuks (Korean historical TV dramas for the uninitiated) but I do love some fusion in them (Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Moonlight Drawn By Clouds) and the new JTBC drama Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency looks like it is fitting that bill. We already had one robot romance drama a few months back, I’m Not A Robot, and now we have another, though with gender reversed for the robot character. Seo Kang Joon leads the new KBS show Are You Human Too? along with Gong Seung Yun, Lee Joon Hyuk and Kim Sung Ryung.
