My real life has been so busy lately that I’m not able to blog properly and also only managed to complete Twenty Again, but couldn’t watch latest episodes of She Was Pretty and Village: Secret Of Achiara. And hence I didn’t even realize that one of my most anticipated dramas is premiering today, which is Bubblegum. So I thought better late than never and this post is dedicated to all the promo material the drama is churning up all these weeks. Continue reading →

Bubblegum is the new tvN drama which I’m extremely excited about. The main reason is of course the cast — I love, love, love Jung Ryeo Won and Lee Jong Hyuk. My love with the two comes from King Of Dramas and Dating Agency Cyrano respectively. Their follow-up shows were Medical Top Team and Flower Of The Queen, which I never watched as the cake was not worth the candle in those cases. For a few seconds, I had a face like a wet weekend as she is the main  lead and he plays second lead and I wanted them to pair up against each other but then, I’m just happy that they are starring in something I can get enthusiastic about. Each year brings with it some particular trend that dominates the drama world throughout the year, with every other show following it and trying to milk on the success of that formula. I can say that there was one trend that I totally loved and supported wholeheartedly and that was the bevy of reunions that we received this year. It’s very special and new in K-dramaland because here, it’s like once in a blue moon that we ever get two stars working again for another project, however much success they got with the first one. I really like Lee Dong Wook even if the only drama I’ve seem him in is My Girl. Close on the heels of his last weekend drama Hotel King, he is back with another show, this time a weekday one, titled Iron Man. Shin Se Kyung joins him in a story where he plays a man who has Continue reading →

I never thought of picking up another weekend drama for a long time after You’re The Best Lee Soon Shin as it is seriously a case of cake not being worth the candle as spending 50 hours and then getting dissatisfied is not something I would want from my drama time. But the upcoming Hotel King has again enthralled me due to the My Girl reunion of Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae which is something few and far between in Kdramaland. The set-up is a hotel where she is the heiress while he is the general manager. The drama has added a large number of names to its cast. Continue reading →
