What do you expect and want from a K-drama in general? A swoony romance, a lovely couple that makes you giddy, or maybe some makjang and some melo. I was surprised to love Misaeng in spite of the fact that it is as far from these elements as possible. It’s great to see how Misaeng catapulted all of its cast members to unexplored heights of popularity and made them household names and similarly popular in the international fandom. I’m so happy as I’ve finally marathoned all available episodes of Misaeng and now I can live watch it. It was more difficult for this show because the episodes are longer than normal length of 1 hour — to be exact, they are 70 minutes long! I know! And hence, it required a lot of effort in watching them in one go. But I managed it nevertheless and I’m totally in love with it.
