Wow. I’m absolutely impressed by new KBS Monday-Tuesday drama Healer. I was already super-excited for the show but now that I’ve seen first 3 episodes, I can say that it is hitting all the right buttons for me. It has got emotions, humour, heart, depth, thrills — romance has not started yet but I’m sure it’s gonna take its root pretty soon. Most importantly, I’m loving all the main characters and their intriguing connection. Continue reading →

If a drama reminds me of Delightful Girl Choon Hyang even a little bit, that means it has done half the work of pleasing me. The newest drama on SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday slot aka Pinocchio did that and more. I liked the first episode already but the second one sealed the deal for me and now I love it! It has lots and lots of cuteness of the teenage love and relationship and many heartfelt moments which make it a perfect watch for me. Continue reading →

I think it’s a bit late for posting my first impressions but I started Liar Game just last week and now that I’ve seen all its six episodes, I’m here to give my thoughts on it. It hit the ground running right from its first episode. The drama is intriguing, having mystery, thrills, anxiety, tension and great characters. I haven’t seen the J-version and so thankfully there is nothing to compare Liar Game with, except to just enjoy every minute of it which brings so much fun, twists and turns. Continue reading →

And finally it’s here — Rain‘s comeback drama after 4 years has arrived to grace our screens with She’s So Lovable premiering this week and it is just as we all expected: a story with a very predictable plot and characters. In fact it doesn’t bother in giving any new spin or springing any surprises with it — there is a wounded hero, a candy heroine [not to forget, doing all kinds of part-time jobs, running from the loan sharks], a very annoying and insensitive second female lead, a Continue reading →

The new tvN show My Secret Hotel is well on its third week but I just recently got a chance to catch up with it and I really liked the first two episodes (3 and 4 still left). One can find romantic comedies in dramaland a dime a dozen but adding a murder mystery and that too in a classic setting of a hotel adds an intriguing dimension to the narrative. The show has a very atmospheric and different feel to it. There are lots of characters — pretty obvious as a whodunnit can’t be complete if we are not going to have so many Continue reading →
